Abstract

The device is to be fitted to bicycles in order to guide the saddle stem 3 and the saddle 4 whilst holding them at the correct angular position with respect to the rear tube 2 of the bicycle frame 1 receiving this saddle stem 3 and in order to lock the saddle stem 3 in the tube 2. The saddle stem 3 is fitted with a longitudinal groove 5 which receives a wedge 6, which allows the saddle stem 3 to be moved up and down with respect to this tube 2 whilst being guided angularly. The wedge 6 is clamped in the longitudinal groove 5 with the aid of a screw 8 engaged in the tube 2 and/or in a ring 9 securely fastened to the tube 2. <IMAGE>
