Abstract

Strip-immobilising device, having a body 10 whose cross-section is in the shape of a U, as well as a flap 16 housed between the lateral walls 12 of this body and pivoting so as to enable the strip 20 to be gripped between the flap and the spacer 11 of the body 10 by folding over of the flap towards the spacer about a transverse pivoting axis. The flap 16 is equipped, on each of its longitudinal edges, with a stop member 22 which is movable parallel to the pivoting axis. The stop member 22 comprises a narrow part 29 and it may be thrust manually against the action of a spring. A notch is made in each lateral wall 12 in order to receive the stop member 22. This notch has a narrow entry part 31. The stop member 22 may be thrust manually into the notch against the action of the spring. The flap 16 is locked in the folded-down position by means of return of the stop member 22, through the action of the spring, its widest part becoming accommodated in the notch. <IMAGE>
