Abstract

Pump in particular for viscous pasty or similar material comprising a cylinder and a valve. The valve consists of a pipe 4 arranged so as to extend through the centre of the pump piston 9. At the bottom, the pipe is closed but, close to the bottom, is provided with radial openings 6. These openings 6 interact with likewise radial openings in a pipe piece 7 which surrounds the lower end of the pipe. When the pipe is located in a bottom position, the holes in the pipe piece 7 will coincide with the holes 6 in the valve pipe 4 so that a flow can take place into the pipe from the space below the pump piston. When the valve pipe 4 is then lifted, these openings are closed, and the pump piston 9 can then instead, through openings 8 in the pipe piece 7, suck in pumped medium through the other, lower end of the pipe piece. <IMAGE>
