Abstract

A draw bar (3) extends through the cavities formed between the mould pates, and is surrounded by concrete, when it is poured in. The mould component plate (6) and beams (8) have an aperture through which the draw bar passes. The apertures in the plate and beams are shaped so that each of them, when the draw bar is in position for holding together two mould components extends downwardly below the draw bar, permitting a relative movement upwards of the mould components. Components are provided for holding the draw bar in an upper position in the apertures before and during casting. The apertures are provided with a cover plate (11) which has an opening for the draw bar in an upper position during casting.
