Abstract

The conveyor system comprises a guide acting as its track, and a component electrically driven, with wheels working in conjunction with opposite sides of the guide.. To the sides of the wheels are attached engagement points for the goods to be carried. The two wheels are connected to a drive motor which activates them synchronously. The guide has at least two surfaces forming an angle to which correspond drive surfaces on the wheels. Where horizontal transport is involved, the two wheels and the material engagement points are located in a vertical plane, and the electrically driven component involves current and voltage feed rails arranged parallel to or within the guide.
