Abstract

The wheel comprises an outer ring (1), a central part (2) consisting of bearings and an attachment device (5-11), and the main body which is made up of two halves (3,4) pref. constructed of plastics. This allows for easy manufacture, firmness and quiet running. Both the main body halves have flanges (14,15) designed to engage each other and are held together via the outer ring which has a groove (19) to meet the flanges. Cylindrical surfaces on the outer ring (17,18) and on the main body (12,13) facilitate radial load-bearing.
