Abstract

Connection device for connecting a coaxial cable to a component on a circuit board. The circuit board (3) is of a type provided with rows of connection pins (14) along one side, said pins coacting with connection blocks (5) having female contacts (6) along one side and connection pins (7) associated therewith along the other side. The screening sleeve (8) of a coaxial cable may be thrust between four pins (7a-7d) on the connection block, and a pin (9), centrally situated in relation to these four pins, is soldered to the central conductor (11) of the coaxial cable. The screening sleeve is provided with longitudinal slits (12) which are approximately as wide as the thickness of the pins, but are shorter than the pins, so that when the sleeve is thrust between the pins the latter come into engagement with the edges of the slits and retain the sleeve (8).
