Abstract

A method and a device for advancing and inserting flat labels 5 as far as/between the halves of the multiple mould (with various identical shaping spaces) of an injection-moulding machine before each injection of thermoplastics. Each label is expelled from a conveyor device 4 and is able to fall under gravity, guided along its lateral sides by a pair of stationary guide channels 8, 9. The label is held by retention members 10 so that it is located in the area of the respective shaping space. The courses of the two pairs of guide channels extend vertically on both sides of the shaping space. A number of such pairs of guide channels are arranged parallel and adjacent, one behind another, in the direction of depth of the machine, for each one of the groups of shaping spaces, being located one above the other. The conveyor device issues a label for each shaping space. A deflector 12 channels each label in the respective group towards a suitable pair of guide channels.
