Abstract

A valve arrangement for a mixing valve comprises two discs 8, 9 abutting sealingly against each other. A first disc 8 is provided with two inlets for cold and hot water, respectively, and an outlet 45 for mixed water. A second disc 9 has a mixing duct 24 in which a silencing strainer 31 is placed. The strainer 31 has a sidewall which consists of two wall portions folded over each other, of which the outer abuts on the wall of the mixing duct. The two wall portions are united by means of a transition portion 54 facing said first disc. <IMAGE>
