Abstract

Fixing device for anchoring of e.g. a mooring cable (4) in a bridge or similar and comprised of a fixed anchorage unit (3). The anchoring device is designed to offer a heavily theft-resistant anchorage of the anchor chain. According to the invention, the anchoring device's anchor unit has one part (6) that extends itself out from e.g. the landing (1) and through a thorough-going or permanently fixed ring in the anchor chain. In its free end, the anchoring device has a surrounding groove (7), which enables rotatory attachment of a catch (8), which inwardly has action pins in the slots (11).<IMAGE>
