Abstract
A heating installation having a boiler 6 for heating a thermal carrier medium, a burner 4 supplied with combustion air and in the flue gas exhaust system 1 a heat exchanger 2 through which passes the combustion air supply to the burner 4. A second heat exchanger 3 is inserted in the air intake line 21 between the first heat exchanger 2 and the burner, to preheat the heat carrying medium before it is returned to the boiler 6. <IMAGE>
