Abstract

A heat pump comprising a compressor (10), an evaporator (12) and a condensor (11). The evaporator (12) comprises a first tube (20) to be contacted by an external fluid, which is closed at the ends, and a second tube (23) inside the first tube and substantially coaxial therewith, which extends from one end of the first tube and opens at some distance from the other end of this tube At said one end said first tube (20) is connected to the suction side of the compressor (10), while said second tube (23) at said one end is connected to the pressure side of the compressor to form the throttling means of the evaporator.
