Abstract

The coupling socket for connection of a threaded rock bolt (1) to a striking rock drilling machine (2) comprises a first part (3) with an inner thread for connection of the bolt (1) and a second part (5) with an inner thread for connection of the drilling machine. The second part comprises a lock arrangement (7) running across a longitudinal axis (9) of the coupling socket. The lock device works in conjunction with an area (8) on the drilling machine to prevent the coupling socket and the drilling machine being separated.
