Abstract

The purpose of the invention is to achieve an inexpensive pack in which many individually-enclosed tablets or the like can be accommodated in a small space and still be easily and safely taken out. This is achieved by making a pack which is primarily characterised by consisting of a thick and rigid grid (9) with narrow grid walls, by attaching to the outer side of this a thin, easily flexible first layer (7, 17) with blisters (8), where each blister contains a tablet, and where the blisters pass right through the openings in the grid. A flat covering layer (1) is attached on the outside of the first layer and has fracture lines (2) outside the area where the covering layer is attached to the first layer or the grid. Individual packs may be inserted into a carton in a known manner.

The invention has the features which appear from the claims.

Some embodiments of the invention will be described in more detail below with the aid of figures. For the sake of clarity, some dimensions are exaggerated, especially with regard to the material thickness in Figures 11 to 16.

Figures 1 and 2 show a cover layer 1 consisting of paper which on its underside has a thin plastic layer of thermoplastic. The cover layer has snot instructions 2 for each tablet, in this case 12 tablets. The breaking instruction may consist of the paper being cut through but not the underlying plastic layer. Figures 3 and 4 show a thin soft plastic film 7, which is formed so as to form 12 bulges 8, each constituting a space for a tablet. The plastic film can e.g. be of polyethylene, polypropylene or polystyrene and be 0.03 millimeters thick.

The bulges can be accomplished in a known manner using pressure and / or vacuum. The bulges themselves become thinner than the original film due to the expression.

Figures 5 and 6 show a grid 9. It is thick e.g. 2 millimeters and the material between the through openings 10 is small e.g. 2 millimeters. The openings shown here are square with rounded eagles. The openings can of course instead be round or have another shape. Figure 10 shows a second embodiment of a pull-out part containing 12 tablets 16 seen from the underside. Instead of a plastic film according to Figures 3 and 4, there are three paper strips 17, which are bevelled on the upper side of the grid so that they pass through each opening in the grid. On top of the tablets there is a cover layer according to Figures 1 and 2.

Figures 11 and 12 show a second embodiment of a grid. Figure 12 shows the grid in Figure 11 in section C-C. The grid here is made of a 0.5 millimeter thick rigid plastic foil of thermoplastic. After heating, 12 closed bulges have been formed in a known manner by means of pressure and / or vacuum. Thereafter, the bottoms of the bulges have been removed, forming 12 through-openings. Each opening is here surrounded by a round rigid collar 18, which gives the grid the intended rigidity. The flat surface of the grid is surrounded by an outer edge 19 facing it.

Figures 13 and 14 show a grid of cardboard. This has been prepared so that first folds e.g. 3 meter long and 65 millimeter wide strips of 0.5 millimeter thick cardboard for square pipes 26. Fold such pipes are glued together, after which a wrap 21 of similarly 0.5 millimeter thick cardboard is glued around the interconnected pipes. The long pipe packages are then sawn into 3 millimeter thick discs and sawdust is removed. A sawn board forms a grid.

Figures 15 and 16 show a grid where 12 long round cardboard tubes 22 are glued together and a wrap 23 is glued around the glued-together tubes. The ready-made pipe packages are then sawn into 3 millimeter thick sheets, each forming a grid.

When manufacturing grids by punching openings from a cardboard board, a large material waste arises, which has no value. In order to achieve sufficient rigidity of the grid, the distance between the openings must be large and the cardboard thick. Thick cardboard has a tendency to layer, which weakens it.

In the manufacture of grids according to Figures 13 to 16, it becomes only insignificant with material waste, which mainly results from the sawing into discs. Due to the construction, the distances between the openings can be very small. Due to the large thickness of the grid, the sufficient rigidity is achieved.

If the grid consists of cardboard, wood or other completely renewable material and for environmental reasons it is not considered appropriate to use unloaded film even if it is only a small amount, the alternative with paper strips (17) may be useful. If the box is openable on both its short sides, it is advisable to first take the tablets on one half of the pull-out parts through one short side of the box and when they are taken break any seal and open the other short side of the box and then take the remaining tablets by then to something more than half pull out the extendable parts through this short side. This can be done by opening the doors on the pull-out parts in different directions, which means that when tablets are taken, they remain in the doors. When the pull-out parts are inserted back into the box, they are closed by the edge of the box.

In the above procedure, no part needs to be completely removed from the box. If a part has to be taken out of the box, it has to be placed somewhere while a tablet is taken out of an extended part with the help of both hands.

Text can be easily arranged on the cover layer.
