Abstract

A bridge construction (10) of a dental bridge for arrangement to dental implants has a shell (12) and a space (13) surrounded by the shell, and at least one bridge support (14). A method is provided for manufacturing a bridge construction (10), having a shell (12) and a space (13) surrounded with the shell and with at least one bridge support (14) for fastening to at least one dental implant arranged in the jaw of a human being. It comprises the step of manufacturing a model of the jaw and said implant and an original of the model, scanning the original and transforming the representation into a CAD-file for storing into a computer, providing a machine movable by control of the computer, supplying successive layers of metallic powder during melting by irradiation source and forming the dental bridge according to the original.
