Abstract

A pivotable container structure comprising a bottom plate (1), a roof plate (2) and two opposed end walls (4). The end walls (4) are pivotably journalled at the bottom plate (1). Each end wall (4) is pivotably connected to one end (6) of a link (7), the other end (71) of which is displaceably received in a groove (20) extending along the side edge of the roof plate (2). An energy accumulator (15) is inserted between the bottom plate (1) and each end wall (4) in order to be energy loaded when the end wall is erected at the pivot joint (5) from the bottom plate (1). A rotary device (42, 43), is energized by the accumulator (50) and, at the final phase of the erection of the end walls (4), will cause these end walls to be pivoted into their erected end positions, so that the roof plate can be lowered and received between the free end portions of the end walls being fully erected from the bottom plate (1).
