Abstract

The power unit comprises a support structure (12) which has a longitudinal axis and a hollow distance component (22) fitted on the support structure to mechanically lock the power unit in the assembled state. The support structure has a cross-sectional shape with a varying outer radius and the distance component has a cross-sectional shape with a varying inner radius. In a first angle position of the distance component, there is a gap between the support structure and the distance component, and in another angle position of the distance component there is frictional contact between the support structure and the distance component. In this manner, a power unit is produced, which is easy to assemble whilst the risk of damage to the parts of the unit is minimised. The hollow distance component is made of an electrically conductive material, as is also the support structure. The support structure has an outer radius with at least two outstanding flanges.
