Abstract

The clamp comprises a pair of clamp parts for enclosure of an object via an intermediate elastic layer and a pair of end parts movable together so that through a fixture component they clamp the clamp parts together around the object, securing the clamp to an installation surface. The elastic layer comprises a casing with a profiled peripheral surface which absorbs vibrations in the object.
