Abstract

The apartment block part (1) of the building is divided into apartment units (4-12) arranged as segments of a ring with a round or polygonal outer periphery, arranged symmetrically around a central shaft (19). The apartment units and communal part (2, 3) of the building are covered by a single roof. The communal part includes a central area (2) inside the ring of apartment units, formed by a central pool (28) and a corridor (33) extending in a ring between the pool and apartment blocks. The roof is transparent above at least some communal part areas.
