The possibility of progressive rotary movement of the first section is ensured by the combination of curvilinear guides of the articulation linkage mechanism that serially connects the first section to at least one stationary element. The lever of the articulation linkage mechanism has cut-outs interacting (during transformation) with the rollers mounted on the first section while the second section adjoins the first one and is pivotally connected to it.

Description

The invention relates to the furniture industry, in particular to furniture for sitting and lying, transformable from a sitting position to a lying position by extending the elements.

Known sofa bed with a transformation mechanism [RF patent No. 45248 U1, IPC A47C 17/13, publ. 05/10/2005], comprising a rigid frame with bearing legs, consisting of a back wall, sidewalls and backs connecting them, with the formation of a cavity, a transformable part consisting of a headrest, a section for the seat and a section for the legs, while the headrest is connected with curved guides of the frame by means of a side roller and pivotally connected to the seat section, the foot section has a hinged vertical folding mechanism on the frame and is mounted with the possibility of telescopic folding into the cavity of the seat section by means of a guide with the roller, and the folding of the seat section occurs through the guides of the frame and the roller mounted on the frame of the seat section, the leg section being able to fold the section for the seat into the cavity until this section is pushed into the frame, and the section section latch for the seat is in the “sofa” position "Is made in the form of a hole-shaped locking element fixed to the frame and a bearing roller of the wheel support of the seat section, and the head restraint lock in the" bed "position is made on top of a spherical surface linear guides in the form of lateral recesses for lunkoobraznoy roller.

Transformable furniture for sitting and lying was selected as a prototype [patent DE 3700477 (C1), IPC A47C 17/13, publ. 03/31/1988], comprising a frame including two side walls and a back with a cushion fixed to it (or several cushions located along the back) and three extendable sections, the first (head) of which is seated in the space between the back and the cushion and made with the possibility of translational-rotational movement along curved guides located on the side walls, from a sitting position to a horizontal position and vice versa, and the second (internal) and third (external) sections are telescopic apart, forming together with the head part a horizontal surface, while on the third (outer) section two pillows are placed one above the other, the upper of which is made with the possibility of folding in the direction of the back to the second (inner) section during transformation into a lying position, and when folded state forms the bearing surface of the seat.

Obviously, the well-known design allows you to organize a full-fledged sleeping space, oriented only in the direction of extension of the sections, which significantly reduces the range of possible modifications of furniture based on such a solution. In addition, the known design limits the possibility of adjusting the angle of inclination of the pillow mounted on the back (for example, due to the need to place a sufficiently large head section in the space between the back and the pillow). These reasons, as well as the need for mounting on the side walls of curved guides lead to an increase in the dimensions (often a negative factor) of the fixed elements.

The objective of the invention was to provide a functional variety of transformable furniture for sitting and lying, which allows, including, with maximum unification of the main assembly units, to offer the widest range of products. At the same time, the need to preserve and further develop the ergonomic advantages of a technical solution was taken into account.

These problems are solved by the design of transformable furniture for sitting and lying, containing a frame comprising at least three fixed elements, namely two side walls and a back with a cushion fixed to it or several pillows located along the back, and at least two retractable sections, the first of which in the sitting position is placed in the space between the back and the pillow and is made with the possibility of translational-rotational movement from a sitting position to a horizontal position and back but, the second one forms the seat supporting surface, on which two pillows are placed one above the other, the upper of which is foldable in the direction of the back, in which according to the invention the possibility of translational-rotational movement of the first section is provided by a combination of curved guides and a pivot-lever mechanism, sequentially connecting the first section with at least one fixed element, while the second section is adjacent to the first and pivotally connected to it. It is significant that the basic version of the proposed technical solution may contain only two movable sections, sufficient for the organization of sleeping space (lying position) along the back.

The use of a combination of curved guides and a pivot-lever mechanism made it possible to virtually eliminate the horizontal section of the frame guides, thereby reducing the dimensions of the back.

It is advisable to equip the structure with a third section having a hinged-lever mechanism of vertical folding and mounted with the possibility of telescoping folding into the cavity of the second section by means of guides with a roller. As a result, it becomes possible to implement various options for organizing sleeping space.

The proposed technical solution makes it easy to implement additional design developments. In particular:

- fasten the pillow or several pillows located along the back by means of a linkage mechanism, with the possibility of changing the angle of inclination and movement of the pillow, providing, if necessary, gas lifts (gas springs);

- to make the end surfaces of the pillows of the second section, in contact when the upper pillow is tilted, with a bevel (with this design, the junction of the two sections is almost not felt);

- perform the upper pillow of the second section with a bend, when folded, covering the outer end surface of the lower pillow (in the lying position, the bend closes the gap between the pillow fixed on the back and the horizontal pillow).

Transformable furniture for sitting and lying contains a frame of two side walls 1 and back 2 with a pillow (pillows) 3 fixed on it and three movable sections 4, 5, 6, while section 4 in the sitting position is placed in the space between the back 2 and the pillow 3 (or several pillows 3 located along the back), and the rollers 7 of section 4 are in contact with guides 8 located on the sides of the sections on the frame; below is a pivot-lever mechanism comprising two sets of a lever 9 and a plate 10 on the sides of the sections, while the plates 10 are recessed to accommodate the rollers 7 of section 4, pivotally connected to section 5; section 5 is additionally connected with movable guides 11 through rollers 12 on section 5 two pillows 13 and 14 are placed one above the other, the end surfaces of which contacting when the pillow 13 is tilted are made with a bevel; additional (third) section 6 in the sitting position is in the cavity of section 5 and is equipped with a hinged-lever mechanism 15 of vertical folding; telescopic extension is possible by means of guides 16 and rollers 17; section 5 is made with a bend 18. The pillow 3 is connected to the back 2 by means of a linkage mechanism 19 with gas lifts 20.

The transformation from a sitting position to a lying position is as follows.

When stretching the section 5, section 4 simultaneously begins to move. For the convenience of stretching the section 5, it can be equipped with a corresponding soft loop handle. Section 4 performs translational-rotational movement, moving out of the space between the back 2 and the pillow (pillows) 3, occupying a horizontal (or close to horizontal) position. The kinematics of the movement of section 4 is provided at the first stage by guides 8 in contact with the rollers 7, and at the second stage by the articulated lever mechanism, while the rollers 7 fall into the recesses of the plates 10 mounted on the levers 9. The kinematics of movement of the section 5 are provided by the guides 11 and the rollers 12. When reaching the extreme position of the extension, the pillow 13 is folded back to section 4, as a result, with a sufficient width of the pillows (a size characterized by the distance between the side walls 1), a sleeping space is formed, oriented along the back 2 (longitudinal direction). When performing the end surfaces of the pillows 13 and 14 of section 5, which are in contact when the upper pillow is tilted, with a bevel, an inclined joint is formed, which is not felt at all during operation of the product. The bend 18 completely covers the gap between the pillow 3 and section 4.

If it is necessary to increase the sleeping space or its organization in the transverse direction, the section 6 is advanced (on the rollers 17 along the guides 16) and by means of the articulated lever mechanism 15 it is raised to the level of section 5.

The transformation of furniture in the initial position for sitting (the position of "sofa" or "chair") is carried out in the reverse order. In this position, there is an additional opportunity to adjust the angle of inclination of the pillow (pillows) 3, the movement of which is provided by the articulated lever mechanism 19, equipped with gas lifts for convenience 20. Combining a certain inclination of the pillow 3 with a certain degree of extension of section 5 (and possibly section 6) can be achieved the most comfortable position for relaxation, for example, "relaxation" (reclining).

To minimize the applied efforts of transformation, reliable fixation in one position or another, various structural elements and mechanisms can be equipped with compensating and holding springs, gas lifts (gas springs), clamps and the like auxiliary elements traditionally used in furniture production.

In general, the claimed transformable furniture provides:

- great opportunities (variability) for the organization of space for rest and (or) sleeping space;

- High adaptability, taking into account the individual wishes of a particular user;

- a high degree of unification of furniture production while maintaining a wide range of products.

Claims (6)

1. Transformable furniture for sitting and lying, containing the frame, comprising at least three fixed elements, namely two side walls and a back with a fixed pillow or several pillows located along the back, and at least two retractable sections, the first of which in the seating position is placed in the space between the back and the cushion and is made with the possibility of translational-rotational movement in a horizontal position and vice versa, and the second forms the seat supporting surface on the cat Two pillows are placed one above the other, the upper of which is foldable in the direction of the back, characterized in that the possibility of translational-rotational movement of the first section is provided by a combination of curved guides and an articulated link mechanism connecting the first section in series with at least one fixed element, while at least a pair of levers of the articulated lever mechanism is made with recesses interacting with the rollers during the transformation, is fixed bubbled in the first section and the second section adjoins the first and pivotally connected with it. 2. Transformable furniture according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the end surfaces of the pillows of the second section in contact with the folding of the upper pillow are made with a bevel. 6. Transformable furniture according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the upper pillow of the second section is made with a bend, when folded, covering the outer end surface of the lower pillow.
