SUBSTANCE: in the method of verifying a control system, counting and sorting machines (CSM) are designed to store serial numbers of counted banknotes. The banknotes are verified through recounting by comparing the current serial number of the banknote with serial numbers of banknotes already counted. If the serial number of the current banknote is found amount numbers of banknotes already counted, that banknote is identified as counted. Banknotes identified as already counted are sent to a return pocket and are not considered in the overall count.

Description

The invention relates to methods and devices for verifying the validity of a cash ticket account on a counting and sorting machine (CCM). Designed for work in banks, trade enterprises and financial institutions working with a large flow of money.

There is a counting and sorting machine (CCM) BARS [1].

The BARS machine is a desktop sorter. As in any other desktop sorter, many functions of the machine are not automated and depend on the human factor.

According to the operating instructions [2], when counting and sorting on a BARS machine, the operator lays cash tickets in the machine feeder and removes cash tickets from the machine’s pockets for banding when hundreds of cash tickets are reached in the exit pocket of the machine.

If money tickets have fallen into the return pocket (money tickets with loss of protection), you must skip them again, and when the bank packaging is recalculated, enter the number of money tickets in the return pocket manually, since the machine does not account for banknotes in the return pocket in the general account.

Also, at the end of the recalculation of bank packaging, the machine reconciles the amount received with the declared amount.

If the reconciliation was unsuccessful (the amounts did not match), then the banks envisage a lengthy procedure for investigating the causes and control recount in the presence of the cashier's controller.

Moreover, the most common mistake of the operator is to re-insert money tickets already passed through the machine into the car.

The technical result of the proposed method is to prevent errors in the cash account in the SMS.

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that with the claimed method, the machine automatically informs the operator of an error in the conversion process.

A method for checking the correctness of an account on a counting and sorting machine is proposed, characterized in that the control system of the machine is set up in such a way that the serial numbers of the money tickets that have been counted are remembered, while the money tickets are checked by recounting by comparing the current serial number of the money ticket with the numbers already miscalculated cash tickets, when the serial number of the current cash ticket is found in the numbers of money cards already recalculated, the cash ticket is recognized as already roshedshy recalculation, the banknotes, recognized as already recalculated the past, is sent to the return pocket and not counted in the total score.

The software of the machine is modified in such a way that in the process of passing the machine remembers the numbers of cash tickets and to which pockets the indicated tickets were sent.

Upon receipt of a new cash ticket, after recognition of its serial number, it is checked whether the cash ticket already indicated was sent to one of the work pockets (not to the return pocket).

If not, counting and sorting is done as usual.

If so, then in this case the money ticket is sent to the return pocket (which means it is not included in the general account), the account is stopped, and the operator is notified that the money ticket with such a number is re-loaded into the car.

Operator error is detected immediately at the time of commission and does not affect the total score.

The specified check does not include money tickets sent to the return pocket, since they do not affect the general account and the instruction allows passing money tickets from the return pocket through the machine again.

Thus, the proposed method allows not to take into account already recounted cash tickets in the general account and immediately warns the operator of an error.

Accounting for cash ticket numbers is valid from reconciliation to reconciliation, so as not to interfere with the ability to recalculate bank packaging.
