Technical field

The utility model relates to a brush with an inclined platform, intended for covering eyelashes and eyebrows with a gel, liquid or paste-like cosmetic material, as well as for their cosmetic treatment, for example, separating hairs from each other. The inventive brush is suitable for both lamination of eyelashes, eyebrows and their coloring.

In particular, to carry out the lamination procedure, it is necessary to apply cosmetic material to the eyelashes by pressing them against a special roller and lay the eyelashes parallel to each other on the roller. In practice, the specialist applies and distributes the cosmetic material over the eyelashes using the bristles of an eyelash lamination brush. If the brush in the master’s arsenal does not ensure separation of the eyelashes parallel to each other, then the master additionally uses tools, for example, tweezers or a brush, which increases the complexity of the work and increases the time of the procedure. Therefore, it is necessary that the brush used in cosmetic procedures be multifunctional and convenient to work with cosmetic materials of various consistencies, and also be applicable for cosmetic treatment of eyelashes or eyebrows, for example, when performing eyelash lamination procedures.

Prior Art

From patent EP 3484322, a “Brush for applying cosmetics” is known, containing a handle, a clip and a hair tuft made with an inclined platform. However, in a known brush, the hair bundle is presented in the form of a triangle, in which the maximum length of the hair (hair extension) is located at one of the three corners of the clip, which makes it possible to create a sharp tip at the hair bundle.

The disadvantage of the known technical solution is that the long hairs of the sharp tip do not have lateral support from shorter hairs, which is why the long hairs are separated from the hair bundle to the side. Thus, the hair bundle glides over the surface of the eyelashes without separating the eyelashes from each other. In addition, the practice of using a well-known brush has shown that detached hairs stain the eyelid and can get into the eye, which causes inconvenience to the master and discomfort to the client.

The closest technical solution, chosen as a prototype, is a brush for laminating eyelashes and eyebrows, known from an open source (https://nch-studio.ru/products/kist-synthetic-30-laminator). In a known brush, the top of the hair bundle is characterized by the presence of a flat area perpendicular to the axis of symmetry.

The practice of using a well-known brush has shown that it is difficult to capture the required amount of cosmetic material with a hair bundle with a flat platform, as well as to distribute it evenly over the eyelashes. In addition, with this shape of the hair tuft of the brush, while working, the master has to point the brush handle away from himself. As a result, the position of the hand is disturbed, support is lost, movements become incorrect, the time of laying eyelashes on the roller increases, which causes inconvenience to the master, since the master’s hand gets tired and at the same time the time of the eyelash lamination procedure increases.

The developers are faced with the task of creating a multifunctional brush that will ensure ease of use by the master and make cosmetic procedures comfortable for the client.

The technical result is achieved by creating a brush with an inclined platform, including a clip to which a handle is attached on one side, and a hair bundle collected from numerous hairs is attached on the other. In this case, the hair bundle has a cone-shaped shape, the cone angle of which is made from 10° to 120°, for example, with a cone angle of 55°, numerous hairs have tips cut perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and an inclined platform is located at the tip of the hair bundle and is made at an angle of 20 ° up to 80°, for example at an angle of 45°.

Implementation of a utility model

A brush with an inclined platform consists of a clip 1, to which a handle 2 is attached on one side, and on the other, a cone-shaped hair bundle 3 is attached, the cone angle of which is made from 10° to 120°, for example at an angle of 55°. The hairs in the bundle are cut perpendicularly and form a platform 4 at its tip at an angle of 20° to 80°, for example, at an angle of 45°.

The device works as follows.

The claimed design of the brush ensures the application and distribution of cosmetic material, as well as the separation of individual crossing hairs, so there is no need to use tweezers or other tools.

This result is achieved due to the fact that the inclined platform 4 formed by the trimmed ends of the hair has a rough surface that successfully captures cosmetic material of any thickness (Fig. 3, 6). The rough surface of the inclined platform 4 is formed by the edges of perpendicularly cut hairs and represents microprotrusions (like a file), which work both to capture the cosmetic material and to separate the hairs, which is not achieved by analogues that do not have trimmed tips and an inclined platform 4.

When you press with a brush on the palette with a cosmetic material, or on the edge of the tube in which the material is located, the hairs are bent and the material is mechanically pressed, penetrating between the hairs into the inside of the hair bundle 3. When you subsequently press on the hair bundle 3, the material is squeezed out of the bundle, that is the cavities between the hairs form reservoirs for paint. Thus, the brush can be used to apply thick liquids, including pastes, the content of powder substances in which exceeds more than 20%.

By repeatedly using the brush with an inclined platform, as described above, the hair bundle 3 retains its shape, which is achieved due to the fact that each hair in the bundle has a cone shape. 3 cone-shaped hairs collected in a hair bun provide lateral support to each other. The cone hairs located closer to the holder have a smaller taper, and the hairs closer to the inclined area of the working part of the hair bundle 3 have a larger cone angle, that is, greater lateral support. When using, for example, cylindrical hairs in a brush, the hair bundle 3 opens like a fan and becomes inconvenient to work with, since it has less elastic properties and absorbs cosmetic material worse compared to cone-shaped hairs.

The hair bundle 3 is made of a cone shape, and the values of the cone angle can vary from 10° to 120° (Fig. 4, 5).

The specified range was determined by trial and error in the laboratory. If the cone angle is above 120° or if there is no taper, it is possible to work with a brush, but in this case the hair bundle of the brush may break, that is, individual hairs begin to bend in different directions. The best result is shown by the sample shown in Fig. 4, 5, the cone angle of which is 55°. The sample was selected by selection method.

When making a hair bundle 3 of a cone shape with a cone angle of less than 10°, the side hairs of the hair bundle 3 do not provide lateral support to the hairs involved in the work process. The hair bundle 3, which does not have lateral support, opens like a fan after the first use, since the cosmetic material used gets stuck between the hairs and it becomes problematic to clean the brush from it. The practice of using such a brush has shown that with each use of a brush with a hair bundle 3 that does not have a taper, the hairs bend away from each other, while they are compressed by the clip, deforming them at the point of fixation, which additionally leads to the bending of the hairs to the sides.

When making hair bun 3 with a cone angle of more than 120°, the edges of the clip interfere with working with the brush.

The hair bundle 3 of the inventive brush can be made of synthetic hair. The best results are obtained when using chemically sharpened synthetics. Synthetics do not get wet, do not absorb soda and other solvents, and do not change the elasticity of the hair when wet.

The claimed technical solution may use a metal clip 1, for example, made of copper or aluminum, as well as a PVC clip. The cage can be conical, cylindrical or other shape.

The above description indicating preferred embodiments of the inventive brush, as well as illustrated in FIG. 5-6 a particular case of its implementation are given only as examples and do not in any way limit the scope of the applicant’s patent claims.

The inventive brush is suitable for both lamination of eyelashes, eyebrows and their coloring. Next, the use of the inventive brush during the eyelash lamination procedure is discussed in detail. The example below is a special case of the application of the inventive brush and does not limit the scope of its application.

When the hair bundle 3 slides along the eyelashes, the microprotrusions of the inclined platform 4 are located between the eyelashes, separating them and leveling individual crossings of the eyelashes. The eyelash shaft is evenly stretched, which leads to smoothing and correct geometry of the eyelash curl. As a result of the procedure, the eyelashes become smooth, beautiful and of the correct shape.

The inclined platform 4 is located at the top of the hair bundle 3 and can be made at an angle from 20° to 80°. At values of the inclination angle, for example 70° or 30°, the inclined platform 4 of the hair bundle 3 has the necessary roughness, with the help of which separation of the eyelashes is possible. The best result was obtained when the platform was tilted at an angle of 45°, since it is at a tilt of 45° that the roughness (similar to the surface of a file) becomes maximum. When the angle of inclination increases or decreases from the stated range, the effect of roughness of the inclined platform 4 becomes insignificant and the stated technical result is not achieved. In addition, when the bend angle is more than 80°, the surface area of the pad 4 is reduced, which leads to a decrease in the amount of material to be grabbed, which makes the brush inconvenient to use.

Also, the presence of an inclined platform 4 at the top of the hair bundle 3 allows you to ergonomically position the hand of the master and the handle of the brush 2 relative to the plane of the roller. The section of the hair bundle at an angle from 20° to 80° allows you to position the brush relative to the plane of the roller without turning the handle of the brush 2 away from you. In this case, there is support in the position of the master’s hand, the movements become precise and the time for laying out the cosmetic material is reduced. At the same time, the time required for the eyelash lamination procedure is reduced and the technician’s productivity increases. When cutting the hair bundle 3 at an angle of less than 20°, the platform 4 becomes flatter, which, similar to the brush known from the prototype (https://nch-studio.ru/products/kist-synthetic-30-laminator), complicates the work of the master, since he you have to point the handle of hand 2 away from you and keep your hand in an awkward position.
