From the description of the patent DE10156045A1, IPC A47K3/00, E04F19/02, E04F19/04, E04 B1/68, publ. 06/05/2003, a border made of elastic polymer material is known, designed to close the gap between the edge of the bathtub and the wall.

The border includes a shelf, a vertical wall and an inclined wall, between which a cavity of triangular cross-section is formed, as well as a lower protrusion adjacent to the vertical wall.

At the border of the vertical wall and the lower protrusion there is a groove, thanks to which the lower protrusion is connected to the vertical wall by a thin strip of material that acts as a hinge.

Known from the prior art is the set “Border for bathtub and trays K Studio 195/2 cm” produced by K-Studio (trademark certificate RU879418, published 07/04/2022, copyright holder S.Yu. Kirpichev, RU) The set includes curbs, curb corner joint, corner face plate and end caps.

The closest analogue repeats the design of the above-mentioned border manufactured by K-Studio.

The appearance of the closest analogue is also shown in Fig. 2.

The border, taken as the closest analogue, includes a shelf, a vertical wall and an inclined wall, between which a cavity of triangular cross-section is formed, as well as a lower protrusion adjacent to the vertical wall.

At the border of the vertical wall and the lower protrusion there is a groove, thanks to which the lower protrusion is connected to the vertical wall by a thin strip of material that acts as a hinge.

The task that the utility model is aimed at achieving is to create a border made of polymer material designed to close the gap between the edge of the bathtub and the wall, which, with increased overall dimensions, in particular, with an increased width of the shelf, involves the use of a corner to connect with a similar border, previously used to connect curbs with small overall dimensions.

The technical result that the utility model is aimed at achieving is to reduce the material consumption of the curb connection.

The above technical result is achieved in a border made of a polymer material, including a shelf, a vertical wall and an inclined wall, between which a cavity of triangular cross-section is formed, as well as a lower protrusion adjacent to the vertical wall.

This technical result is achieved by the fact that the border is equipped with a protrusion adjacent to the surface of the shelf and oriented inside the cavity of the border.

The utility model can be successfully implemented in the design of a curb 1, which includes (see Fig. 1) a shelf 2, a vertical wall 3 and an inclined wall 4, between which a cavity 5 of triangular cross-section is formed, as well as a lower protrusion 6 adjacent to the vertical wall 3.

The border is made by extrusion from an elastic polymer material, for example, polyvinyl chloride or acrylic.

To implement the utility model, the following changes are made to the design of the closest analogue.

The border is provided with an internal projection 8 adjacent to the surface of the shelf 2 and oriented inside the cavity 5 of the border 1.

In this case, the internal protrusion 8 limits part of the cavity between the shelf 2 and the inclined wall 4, which ensures the fixation of the protrusion 11 or protrusion 12 of the corner 9, having a T-shaped cross section.

The design of a corner 9 known on the market is shown in FIG. 3.

The border is used in the usual way.

The protrusion of the corner 9 is inserted into the cavity 5 of the first border 1 from the first end, fixing the protrusion of the corner 9 between the inner protrusion 8, the shelf 2 and the inclined wall 4 (see Fig. 4).

The second end of the border is closed with a plug (plugs are not shown in Fig.).

The second border is attached at one end to corner 9. The second end of the second border is also closed with a plug.

The first and second borders, joined using a corner, are placed opposite the gaps between the edges of the bathtub and the walls of the room, after which the lower projections of the borders are recessed into the gaps.

The junction of the borders with the corner is covered with a decorative overlay (not shown in Fig.), for attachment of which sockets 13,14 are used (see Fig. 3).

The proposed curb is intended to satisfy the consumer request for a well-known curb design with an increased flange width and to expand the line of popular bath curbs.

The use of the known small corner (see Fig. 3) to connect borders with an increased flange width and correspondingly increased overall dimensions reduces the material consumption of the border connection.

Thanks to the proposed technical solution, it becomes possible to use one corner to connect borders with different overall dimensions, in other words, expanding the applicability of the corner, unifying border kits.

Conducted patent research confirms the world novelty of the utility model.

The operation of prototypes of the utility model confirmed its industrial applicability and compliance with the stated technical results.
