A device for protecting the driver and passengers from dirt and dust from a car threshold relates to transport, namely road transport, mainly passenger cars, in particular to structural elements of bodies that protect the car thresholds from dirt and dust and provide the opportunity for passengers and the driver to remain unstained by dust and dirt from the thresholds when getting in and out of the car in rainy and dirty weather.

A known device for protecting the driver and passengers from dirt and dust from the threshold of a car (patent RU No. 195 300), made in the form of an elongated element containing a tube mounted on bushings with the ability to rotate along the longitudinal axis into two brackets mounted on the inner surface of the threshold, when In this case, a roll of film with perforations is placed on the tube to cover the outer side of the threshold.

The disadvantage of such a device is the need to periodically install a new roll of film with perforations to replace the used one, which creates unnecessary work for the car owner during its operation.
