Description

 The invention relates to advertising, arts and crafts or visual arts, computer science or printing. In particular, the invention can be used to increase the attractiveness and information content of business cards, advertising items, labels, cards and packaging of goods. The invention may also find application in architecture.

 Known decorative information object (information card) containing a substrate, metallized reflective and transparent layers (US patent N 3 494 818, IPC B 44 F 1/00 1970). The decorative effectiveness of such an information card is limited.

 Known decorative information object (information card) containing a substrate, a metallized reflective layer, a transparent or translucent layer. These two layers are located on different sides of the substrate. The reflective layer is made on the basis of photopolymer material. On the reflective layer, a microrelief and a macrorelief are simultaneously formed. The microrelief is made with a variable period in the range of 1-10 microns. The transparent or translucent layer is painted (USSR patent N 1 799 311, IPC B 44 F 1/00, priority 25.12.90, published on 02.28.93, prototype).

 The production of such an information object (card) is difficult and expensive. Decorative effects and information capacity of such an object are limited.

 The invention was given the task of creating a decorative and / or information object, simple and cheap to manufacture, as well as decorative and information-intensive and efficient. The invention achieves other objectives that will become clear from the following description.

 The essence of the invention lies in the fact that in the well-known decorative and / or informational object, including the decorative and shielding layers, it is new to make the decorative layer a hologram and only partially overlap the decorative layer with a shielding.

 The implementation of the decorative layer with a hologram and partial overlapping of the decorative layer by shielding increase the decorative and informational efficiency of the object and at the same time simplify and cheapen the manufacture of the object.

 The hologram decorative layer may be located on an opaque, transparent, translucent, mirror or reflective substrate.

 The arrangement of the decorative layer on the substrate protects the hologram decorative layer. The implementation of the substrate is opaque, transparent, translucent, mirror or reflective allows the use of various types of holograms and increases the decorative and informational efficiency of the object.

 A transparent, translucent, color or colorless protective layer may be located on the front side of the shielding layer.

 The presence on the front side of the shielding layer of a transparent, translucent, color or colorless protective layer prevents damage to the shielding and decorative layers and increases the decorative efficiency of the object.

 At least one of the layers of the object can be used as a carrier of visual and / or computer readable information.

 The possibility of carrying out the invention is proved by the following examples.

 Example 1 (Fig. 1 and 2).

 A decorative information object, such as a label, contains a hologram decorative layer 1 and an opaque shielding layer 2. The hologram decorative layer 1 is only partially covered by an opaque shielding layer 2. The length and width of the opaque shielding layer 2 is less than the length and width of the hologram decorative layer 1. In an opaque shielding layer 2, four holes are made through which light is illuminated and sections 3 of the hologram decorative layer 1 are visible to the observer. Not covered by an opaque shielding layer 2 the fields 4 of the hologram decorative layer 1 are also illuminated and visible to the observer. On the front surface of the opaque shielding layer 2 there are signs and images (not shown) that perform a decorative, advertising or informational function, and machine-readable information can also be applied.

 In sections 3 and fields 4 of the hologram decorative layer 1, not covered by an opaque shielding layer 2, holograms are also visible that also perform decorative and informational functions.

 The shielding layer 2 can be made transparent, translucent, color or colorless. The hologram decorative layer 1 and the shielding layer 2 can be made elastic. Diffused sunlight or artificial light illuminates the text and the image, printed, for example, printed on the front side of the opaque shielding layer 2, passes through the holes in the shielding layer 2, is reflected from sections 3 of the hologram decorative layer 1 that are not covered by the opaque shielding layer, and also from 2 of the fields 4 of the hologram decorative layer 1 overlapped by the opaque shielding layer 2 e or leads to the appearance of rainbow effects that enhance the decorative and informational capacity of the object.

 The use of a decorative information object consists in viewing the object by an observer, as well as in visual or machine reading of information.

 The manufacture of a decorative information object is as follows. The opaque shielding layer 2 is cut out of an elastic material, such as paper. On the front side of the shielding layer 2 can be printed, for example printed, text and images. Holes are punched in the opaque shielding layer 2. On the hologram decorative layer 1, a hologram is performed that reproduces under illumination patterns or colors that change under illumination or when viewed from different angles. The hologram decorative layer 1 and the opaque shielding layer 2 are glued or bonded in another way.

 Example 2 (Fig. 3 and 4).

 The decorative information object (label, business card or advertisement) contains a hologram decorative layer 5 located on position 6 and partially covered by an opaque shielding layer 7. The width of the opaque shielding layer 7 is equal to the width of the hologram decorative layer 5, and the length of the opaque shielding layer 7 is less than the length of the hologram decorative layer 5. Therefore, holographic patterns or images are visible on the lateral fields 8 of the hologram decorative layer 5 not covered by the shielding layer 7. In the opaque shielding layer 7, holes are made through which parts 9 of the surface of the hologram decorative layer 5 are visible.

 The shielding layer 7 may be made opaque, translucent, transparent, colorless or color. On the outer surface of the shielding layer 7, text and / or image are placed. Through the holes in the shielding layer 7, signs, patterns or images can be seen.

 The use of a decorative information object is of an advertising or presentation nature.

 The manufacture of a decorative information object is carried out similarly to the method described in example 1. In the serial or mass production of a decorative information object, the tapes or sheets of the substrate 6 with the hologram decorative layer 5 are first produced. Next, the tapes or sheets of the shielding layer 7 of the required width are made. On the front surface of the shielding layer 7 print text and image. The tape or sheets of the shielding layer 7 are glued to the tape or sheets of the substrate 6 with a hologram decorative layer 5. The multilayer tape or sheets are cut into individual objects.

 Example 3 (Fig. 5 and 6).

 A decorative information object, for example, an advertisement, postcard, cover, comprises a substrate 10 bonded to each other, a hologram decorative layer 11, an opaque shielding layer 12 and a transparent protective layer 13. A rectangular hole is made in the opaque shielding layer 12. Through the transparent protective layer 13, the front surface of the shielding layer 12 and the open part 14 of the surface of the hologram decorative layer 11 are illuminated. Through the transparent protective layer 13, you can see the text and image on the front surface of the shielding layer 11, as well as the image 15, applied with paint, adhesive or film-forming substance on the open part 14 of the surface of the hologram decorative layer 11.

 The shielding layer 12 may be wholly or partially made of paint, an adhesive and / or film-forming substance.

 The surface of the substrate 10 adjacent to the hologram decorative layer 11 can be mirror, semi-mirror, or reflective. The use of a decorative information object consists in its examination and in visual or machine reading of information.

 The manufacture of a decorative information object is carried out similarly to the methods described in examples 1 and 2.

 The term "decorative and / or informational object" should be understood as any object used for decorative, informational or advertising purposes, as well as an integral part of such an object. In particular, it can be a label, product packaging, advertising, business card, postcard, postage stamp, envelope, security paper, cover, dust jacket, book illustration, picture or stained glass window.

A decorative and / or information object, including decorative and shielding layers, characterized in that the decorative layer is made hologram and is overlapped by the shielding layer only partially.  2.
