1. Способ получения серной кислоты из сероводородного газа, включающий его сжигание с образованием технологического газа, содержащего диоксид серы и воду, двухступенчатую конверсию с выводом после первой ступени образовавшегося триоксида серы и воды, последующее получение продукционной серной кислоты, отличающийся тем, что после первой ступени конверсии проводят абсорбцию циркулирующей серной кислотой до содержания влаги в газе, поступающем на вторую ступень конверсии, не более 0,005%, а после второй ступени конверсии проводят абсорбцию с получением готовой серной кислоты любой требуемой концентрации, вплоть до олеума.2. Установка для осуществления способа, включающая печь для сжигания серосодержащего сырья, котел-утилизатор с барабаном-сепаратором и пароперегревателем, контактный аппарат со слоями катализатора, газовый теплообменник, установленный на выходе из контактного аппарата, отличающаяся тем, что после первого слоя катализатора установлен газовый теплообменник, соединенный с контактным аппаратом и теплообменником на выходе из контактного аппарата, после первой ступени конверсии установлен котел-охладитель, соединенный с входом абсорбера, установленным после первой ступени конверсии, а выход этого абсорбера соединен через теплообменник на выходе контактного аппарата и теплообменник после первого слоя контактного аппарата с входом на вторую стадию конверсии, выход со второй стадии конверсии соединен через теплообменник на выходе контактного аппарата со вторым абсорбером3.
