Способ получения тетрахлороплатоат(II)-иона и его солей с натрием, калием или аммонием, включающий взаимодействие в растворе гексахлороплатеата(IV) калия или аммония с аскорбиновой кислотой, и последующей кристаллизацией продукта из раствора, отличающийся тем, что реакцию восстановления ведут при заданной кислотности от 0,01 м/л до 1,0 м/л и температуре 50°C-80°C стехиометрическим количеством аскорбиновой кислоты или ее насыщенным водным раствором.
