Устройство ортогонального ввода ионов во времяпролетный масс-спектрометр (ВПМС), включающее канал транспортировки поступающего из источника непрерывного пучка ионов, сформированный двумя электродами, ориентированными параллельно направлению движения непрерывного ионного пучка и предназначенными для создания импульсного электрического поля, выталкивающего ионы в направлении, перпендикулярном непрерывному пучку, и электроды для электростатического ускорения ионов, расположенные вне указанного канала, отличающееся тем, что в пространство между электродами, формирующими канал транспортировки, введены дополнительные электроды, ориентированные параллельно направлению движения непрерывного ионного пучка, к которым прикладываются статические электрические потенциалы.
