Способ очистки кислых сточных вод от сульфатов тяжелых металлов, включающий двухстадийную обработку с использованием на первой стадии известкового молока с последующим отделением нейтрализованной воды от осадка, отличающийся тем, что нейтрализацию осуществляют до pH 7,5-8,0, а в осветленную воду на второй стадии вводят карбонат бария и выдерживают полученную суспензию при перемешивании до превращения его в сульфат бария. The method of purification of acidic wastewater from heavy metal sulfates, comprising a two-stage treatment using lime milk in the first stage, followed by separation of the neutralized water from the sludge, characterized in that the neutralization is carried out to a pH of 7.5-8.0, and in clarified water on the second barium carbonate is introduced into the stage and the resulting suspension is maintained with stirring until it is converted to barium sulfate.
