Abstract

The method for powering of floor nozzle (1) for suction of dust, particularly for an electric vacuum cleaner, utilises a vertically movable limiter (14) at the front as well as having a sensor (19) for determining the size characteristic of the dust and the dependency of the sensor-determined size characteristic raises or lowers the limiter. The sensor may be a contact-less sensor and may be built as a photo-sensor (20). The photo-sensor may operate with a laser or an encoded signal or may operate with ultrasound.

Claims (27)
