Устройство для нанесения покрытий электрическим взрывом фольги, содержащее внешний цилиндрический и центральный коаксиальные высоковольтные электроды с изолятором между ними и направляющее сопло, при этом торцы центрального электрода и изолятора заглублены относительно торца цилиндрического электрода на расстояние h, отличающееся тем, что величина заглубления торцов центрального электрода и изолятора определяется из условия 0,1d≤h≤0,5d, где d - диаметр активной зоны взрывающейся фольги, диаметр центрального электрода равен диаметру активной зоны взрывающейся фольги, его торец является плоским, а поверхность имеет рельефный профиль в виде равномерно расположенных четырехгранных пирамид, при этом изолятор выполнен в виде оболочки с внутренним буртом на конце, высота которого равна расстоянию h, и его торец расположен в одной плоскости с торцом внешнего цилиндрического электрода.
