Claims (18)

1. Продукт из минерального волокна, содержащий волокно, образованное силикатной решеткой и содержащее кремний, кальций, магний, железо, алюминий, кислород и, необязательно, атомы щелочных металлов, отличающийся тем, что волокно имеет состав (выраженный в мас.% окисей), включающий, по меньшей мере, 3% FeO, и 0-8% окисей щелочных металлов и, по меньшей мере, 5% MgO, причем, по меньшей мере, 70% железа представлено в виде трехвалентного железа, а волокна имеют сердцевину, окруженную наружным поверхностным слоем, толщиной менее 1 мкм, в котором максимальная концентрация атомов магния, по меньшей мере, в 1,5 раза больше концентрации атомов магния во всем волокне.
2. Продукт по п.1, в котором поверхностный слой содержит максимальную концентрацию атомов кальция, которая больше концентрации атомов кальция во всем волокне.
3. Продукт по п.2, в котором поверхностный слой содержит максимальную концентрацию атомов кальция, которая, по меньшей мере, в 1,5 раза больше концентрации атомов кальция во всем волокне.
4. Продукт по п.1, в котором поверхностный слой содержит максимальную концентрацию атомов железа, которая, по меньшей мере, в 1,2 раза больше концентрации атомов железа во всем волокне.
5. Продукт по п.1, в котором поверхностный слой соединен с сердцевиной и сформирован путем диффундирования ионов магния в направлении к поверхности волокна.
6. Продукт по п.1, в котором максимальная концентрация магния, по меньшей мере, в 2 раза, а предпочтительно - в 4 раза больше концентрации магния во всем волокне.
7. Продукт по п.1, в котором, по меньшей мере, 95% железа является трехвалентным железом.
8. Продукт по п.1, в котором волокна имеют состав (выраженный в мас.% окисей), включающий, по меньшей мере, FeO - 3%, окисей щелочных металлов - 0-8%, SiO2 - 35-55%, CaO по меньшей мере 8%, MgO, по меньшей мере 5%, Al2O3 - до 25%.
9. Продукт по п.1, в котором волокна являются волокнами, которые были сформованы путем центрифугального волокнообразования из расплава, в котором железо представлено в основном в виде двухвалентного железа.
10. Продукт по п.1, содержащий валяную ткань или полотно, в котором волокно, содержащее поверхностный слой, распределено по существу равномерно в валяной ткани или полотне.
11. Продукт по п.1, включающий валяную ткань, содержащий волокно, имеющее поверхностный слой, и негорючее средство для улучшения структурной целостности валяной ткани, в котором средство выбирают из иглопрокалывания валяной ткани, неорганического связующего и прошивания валяной ткани неорганическими нитями.
12. Продукт по любому предыдущему пункту в форме огнестойкой двери или многослойной панели, который изготовлен путем формования валяной ткани, содержащего волокно, имеющее поверхностный слой, и последующего частичного или полного заключения валяной ткани в листовой материал.
13. Способ обработки минерального волокна, образованного силикатной решеткой для улучшения его стойкости к воздействию высокой температуры, где волокно содержит кремний, кальций, магний, железо, алюминий, кислород и, необязательно, атомы щелочных металлов, отличающийся тем, что волокно имеет состав (выраженный в мас.% окисей), включающий железо в количестве, по меньшей мере, 3% в расчете на FeO, и в котором имеется, по меньшей мере, 2% железа (в расчете на FeO), присутствующего в виде двухвалентного железа, O - 8% окислов щелочных металлов и, по меньшей мере, 5% MgO, причем способ включает этап воздействия на волокно, содержащее, по меньшей мере, 2 мас.% двухвалентного железа, в условиях окисления, контролируемой повышенной температурой, которая выше температуры, при которой происходит окисление железа в волокне, но которая ниже температуры, при которой происходит существенная кристаллизация решетки, и тем самым окисления двухвалентного железа с образованием волокна, в котором, по меньшей мере, 70% всего железа представлено в виде трехвалентного железа.
14. Способ по п.13, в котором волокно подвергают окислению при температуре, которая составляет, по меньшей мере, Tg - 50°С (а предпочтительно, по меньшей мере, равна Tg), но ниже Тс (предпочтительно, не выше Tg+100°С).
15. Способ по п.13 или 14, в котором контролируемой повышенной температуры достигают путем ее повышения в ходе процесса.
16. Способ по п.15, в котором скорость повышения температуры, до которой волокно нагревают при температурах выше Tg - 20°С, составляет меньше 20°С в мин.
17. Способ по п.13, в котором волокно сначала формуют путем центрифугального волокнообразования из расплава, приготовленного в вагранке.
18. Способ по п.13, в котором волокно формуют и собирают в виде валяной ткани или полотна, а валяную ткань или полотно затем подвергают воздействию контролируемой повышенной температуры в нагреваемой печи с приточной вентиляцией.
