Способ соединения и герметизации трубопроводов, при котором на конец одной трубы устанавливают соединительную муфту с герметизирующим элементом, в который вставляют до упора конец второй трубы, а соединительную муфту передвигают на место стыка труб, после чего производят обжатие герметизирующего элемента и фиксацию муфты, отличающийся тем, что в качестве обжимающего средства муфты используют цилиндрическую спираль, а обжатие герметизирующего элемента производят скручиванием витков спирали вокруг соединяемых труб.1.
