The utility model relates to the design of devices for placing various urban information and advertising on city streets, in parks, squares, etc. It can be signs of bus stops, metro, street names, names and addresses of shopping centers, combined with various advertisements. The proposed information and advertising unit is equipped with a backlight, so it can be used for additional decorative street lighting.

There are various options for the construction of blocks with backlight.

The sign has a vertically oriented frame on which an elliptical screen and a flat rear wall are fixed. A light source is mounted between the screen and the wall.

Also known is the information desk, equipped with a backlight, according to the US patent for industrial design No. 357943, MKPO: 20-03, from 06/18/1993. A ball with a light source inside is mounted on a cylindrical rack.

The closest solution to the proposed one can be considered the information and advertising blocks Solar by Cosign, 2000 (ad unit attached). The prototype contains rectangular acrylic glass on which a relief pattern or inscription is applied by laser engraving or milling cutter. One of the ends of the glass is fixed in the housing, which contains a fluorescent lamp, a throttle and a starter.

When the lamp is on, the glass is illuminated from the end, while the inscriptions and drawings begin to glow, creating an original effect of luminous letters and drawings.

The disadvantage of the prototype is the lack of protection against pollution, dust and precipitation, which over time worsens the reflection effect and therefore excludes the use of such blocks in street conditions. In addition, such a design limits the designer's ability to create a variety of visual effects, eliminates the possibility of placing removable information on the surface of the panel.

The objective of the proposed solution is to create an original design of the information and advertising block, which allows to expand technological and design capabilities, as well as increase the service life of such blocks.

To solve this problem, the following changes have been introduced into the information and advertising block containing the information panel with a relief pattern, the connection unit and the lighting source, fixed with the possibility of lighting the end surface of the information panel. The information panel contains at least two transparent plates connected in parallel.

The inner surface of each plate may be provided with a relief pattern, the same or different from the pattern of another plate.

The outer surfaces of the panel are free of patterns and act as protection against external contaminants. They can be supplemented with removable information, printing on a self-adhesive film, application or applying a paint layer.

The shape of the panels can be different: a rectangle, an oblique figure, a circle or a figure with an arbitrary curved contour.

The original visual effect of such a block is ensured by highlighting a transparent plate with a relief pattern from the end, which creates multiple reflection of light from the relief sections. The proposed solution allows you to expand the design capabilities of this design by performing different relief patterns on different plates. The combination of such luminous drawings on the information panel creates new visual images in advertising products.

The proposed information and advertising unit contains an information panel {Fig. 1), which consists of two transparent plates 1, for example, of rectangular silicate glass. On the inner surface of one or both plates 1, a relief pattern 2 is applied, for example, in the form of a linear lattice (Fig. 1), letter characters (Fig. 2.4) or graphic images. The drawing can be done by laser, mechanical or chemical treatment. The outer surfaces of the screens serve as protection against

contaminations and precipitation of internal relief drawings of the block, and also serve to apply interchangeable information.

The plates 1 in the block can be more than two, and each plate can have its own original pattern, contrasting or complementing the drawings on adjacent plates.

One end of the panel, assembled from two or more plates 1, using the node 3 is rigidly connected to the light source 4, providing illumination of the package of plates from the side of the end surface. The rays of light are refracted from the relief of the picture, as a result the effect of a picture (or inscription) glowing from the inside is created. The fine-grained surface structure of the processed glass provides a uniform diffuse glow of structured fields (fiGUR) I serving as a background for permanent or interchangeable information signs and texts.

The shape of the plates 1 and the panels assembled from them may be different. In FIG. 2 shows a variant of a round panel with a corresponding light source housing, and FIG. 4 - one side of the panel has a curved shape.

The outer surfaces of the plates, providing protection of relief patterns from damage, can be additionally used for removable advertising information. In the prototype, such a possibility was absent.

The ease of assembly of the proposed panels from individual plates 1 makes it easy to update the composition of the blocks by changing the combination of previously used plates.

The proposed information and advertising blocks are mounted on any supporting surface: wall, ceiling, counter, floor, tabletop, in a frame on the wall, etc.

Thus, the proposed solution made it possible to create original media of visual information having the simplest design and standard units. The proposed blocks can be widely used on city streets, exhibitions, fairs and offices.

An information and advertising block containing an information panel equipped with a relief pattern, a connection unit and a light source providing illumination of the panel from the end, characterized in that the information panel contains at least two transparent plates connected in parallel, and the relief pattern is made on the inner surface plates.  2. The information and advertising block according to claim 1, characterized in that the relief drawings are made on the inner surfaces of several plates assembled in an information panel.  3. The information and advertising block according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the relief patterns of the plates differ from each other.  4. Information and advertising block according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the outer surface of the panel is equipped with replaceable advertising or information blocks.  5. The information and advertising block according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the information panel has the shape of a circle.  6. The information and advertising block according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the information panel is made with a curved contour.  7.
