Диаметр просвета трубчатого транспортера равен диаметру дилататора. Угол отогнутых изгибов дилататора с его осью составляет 30-60o. С помощью шнура 3 осуществляют сжатие к центру удлиненного изгиба 5, т. е. к центру оси устройства остальных изгибов 5 и втягивают дилататор в просвет трубчатого транспортера 2. Последний извлекают из органа. Коническое расширение 7 рабочего конца транспортера 2, отогнутые под оптимальным углом изгибы 5 другого конца дилататора 1, удлинение одного из них и наличие пропущенного через все изгибы 5 и выведенного через удлиненный изгиб шнура 3 обеспечивают стягивание изгибов при эвакуации дилататора к оси устройства и облегчения втягивания его в просвет транспортера. Бочкообразное расширение 6 обеспечивает увеличение компрессии в средине дилататора и улучшение фиксации его в полом органе для предотвращения миграции.
