This utility model relates to instruments for treating the periungual skin of the hands and feet. The proposed device can be used both in beauty salons and in everyday life.

A disposable manicure tool is known from the prior art (patent No. 2567136 published on November 10, 2015 bull. No. 31). The invention relates to equipment for cosmetic treatment of hands. A disposable manicure tool includes an elongated support member having abrasive inserts and one rest for the user's hand. One end of the carrier is a scraper in the form of a knife blade with a sharpened cutting edge, and the other is a pusher in the form of a spatula with an end working edge for pushing back the cuticle. The scraper and pusher together with the supporting element are a one-piece plastic product. The sharpened cutting edge of the scraper is made in the form of an overlay made of medical steel, which is inseparably connected to the bearing element. The end working edge of the pusher blade is made in the form of a curved lining made of medical steel, permanently connected to the blade. The disadvantage of this device is the complexity of operation due to the presence of additional fastening elements.

The claimed method for performing dry manicure and pedicure consists in treating the hands with a skin antiseptic, then treating the free edge of the nail, then removing the pterygium, then proceeding to the stage of processing the periungual skin ridges and processing the cuticle, then performing the stage of processing the skin on the fingers or toes, while the file is glued at a distance of 1 mm - 1.5 mm above the base, so that the thin free edge of the file is provided to work out the zone of the rear upper roller, where it passes into the lateral roller, while preliminarily raising the cuticle with an orange stick and removing the pterygium from left to right or from right to left, thereby lifting it from the entire nail, the stage of processing the cuticle and periungual skin ridges also begins with the processing of the cuticle and lateral ridges with a file by grinding, and after that the lateral skin ridges and cuticle are processed with a 240 Grit file. The declared utility model is aimed at eliminating the aforementioned shortcomings.

The claimed device is aimed at the development of a tool for manicure and pedicure, allowing to improve the quality of the procedure, while using one tool.

This problem is solved due to the fact that the tool includes a base, which has one tapered end, while the thickness of the base and the area of the tapered base provide easy and atraumatic penetration under the cuticle for its further removal. A flexible abrasive material is attached to the base of the tool. Flexible abrasive material is attached to the entire base of the instrument. A flexible abrasive material is attached to at least one end of the tool base. The edges of the flexible abrasive material may protrude beyond the edges of the base. The base of the instrument can be made of materials that make it possible to carry out sterile and disinfection processing of the instrument.

The technical result from the use of the claimed device is to improve the quality of manicure and pedicure procedures.

The claimed device is an elongated base 1. The shape of the base can have various options. At least one end of the base has a tapered edge. A flexible abrasive material 2 is attached to the base 1. The flexible abrasive material 2 can be made with a size larger than the base of the tool itself (Fig. 3), while the edges of the flexible abrasive material protrude beyond the edges of the base of the tool by no more than 5 mm. Flexible abrasive material 2 can be attached to one end of the backing, to two ends simultaneously, or over the entire area of the backing (Fig. 1, 2). Flexible abrasive material 2 is attached to the base of the tool with an adhesive backing. The grit size of the flexible abrasive material can be anything.

The base is preferably thin so that it can be crawled under the cuticle.

The use of a tool with tapered edges makes it possible to simultaneously process the cuticle and pterygium with one tool without changing to another tool due to the tapered end of the base and the thin protruding edges of the flexible abrasive material. This allows you to crawl under the cuticle and remove excess pterygium. When using the claimed device, the manicure and pedicure procedure becomes safer and more atraumatic, since reusable and sharp cutting tools are not used.

The claimed device is used as follows. One end of the base of the instrument 1 with narrowed edges pushes back the cuticle, which consists of skin and pterygium. After the cuticle is pushed back, the skin and pterygium are treated with abrasive material 2, sawing and cutting them off. After the procedure, abrasive material 2 is removed and disposed of, and the base 1 is sterilized.

Sterilization and disinfection of the instruments used must be carried out in accordance with the sanitary rules and norms of the sanitary-epidemiological service for hairdressers, beauty salons and beauty parlors.

Manicure and pedicure tools can be made of stainless steel or other similar materials, such as medical steel, various alloys, plastic, etc. Thanks to this, the instrument can be sterilized in chemicals and / or in thermo-sterilizers.
