A device for carrying a baby is known, consisting of a back connected to the upper part with shoulder straps, a belt with elements for adjustment and fixation, a head restraint (see the description of the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2161010 IPC A47D 13/02, publ. 27.12.2000) .

The device contains a support element, the upper part of which is connected to the shoulder straps. The ends of the straps in contact with the back of the carrier person are connected to the mono-strap, the lower part of which is connected to a length-adjustable belt covering the waist of the carrier person, and which can move along the belt. The belt is connected to the lower edge of the support element, which has a narrowing in the middle part in height (pos. 2). - the presence of several ways of placing the child on the carrier, which allows you to diversify the distribution of the load applied to the body;

- the minimum number of necessary actions for putting it on;

- the ability to tighten, tie and reel the straps on any figure anywhere in accordance with the physiological structure of the carrier and the child.

The inventive device for carrying a child consists of a back 1, conditionally consisting of three parts, the middle part and the side parts. The middle part 1 of the backrest is rigidly fixed to the belt 2. The extreme parts are connected to the belt 2 with the possibility of regulating the width of the lower edge of the side parts of the backrest 1 depending on the age of the child, that is, the lower edge of the backrest can be reduced and it will be physiological for the newborn child, and You can increase it as the child grows.

For convenient carrying the child inside the device, the support rollers 3 can be fixed on the sides of the backrest 1. The support rollers 3 can be rigidly fixed on the back 1 or can be removable.

A device for carrying a child is used as follows.

Initially, depending on the age of the transferred child, the lateral parts are adjusted along the width of the lower edge of the back 1 relative to the belt 2, then the carrier puts the belt on the waist, tightens until the required level of tightening is reached at an acceptable level of comfort.
