Полезная модель относится к области образования и обучения, а именно к обучению плаванию как детей, так и взрослых. Устройство для обучения плаванию, как и прототип, имеет связанные между собой и выполненные из плавучего материала основание и поводок, а отличие в том, что в качестве основание имеет жилет и связанные с ними съемные ремешки, укрепляемые на нижней части жилета, которые не мешают движению рук, а поводок соединен с жилетом со стороны живота. Техническим эффектом является повышение эффективности обучения за счет ускорения обучения, а также устранение страха и психологических барьеров при обучении.
