Abstract

A cleaner for kitchen sinks, bathtubs, washbasins, washing machines, dishwashers and similar is an invention belonging to the maintenance of sewer installation in houses and apartments. The cleaner is a tool that consists of several parts: a drain adapter (a), a hose (b), a tap connection (c), wherein all of them are connected in the same order to one whole. By connecting between tap and the drain, the cleaner allows water with high flow to clean siphons and sewage pipes. Because of its universality, in the cleaner kit is included a ring (e) as well as an adapter for the tap connection (d).

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

 

1. 0blast technique

This invention belongs to the field of CLEANING, and according to the international classification of the IPC it belongs to group -B08, subgroup B9/28. In a general sense, it belongs to the maintenance of sewage installations.

2. Technical problem 

Clogged or partially clogged drains from bathtubs, sinks, washbasins, washing machines, dishwashers, etc. are a common and problematic occurrence in every house, apartment or restaurant. The causes are various: small pieces of food, grease, hair, the quality of the work performed on the sewer pipes, etc.

3. State of the art

The current methods of cleaning sewer drains are different, and are done with the help of:

-rubber pusher,

-steel cables,

-disassembling and cleaning pipe and siphon parts, -

chemical agents.

All of the above cleaning methods are insufficiently effective, some are expensive, and some require the hiring of a plumber or trained service technician.

4. Substance and novelty 

We connect the water under pressure via the appropriate connection to the existing tap, then via a hose with an adapter at the other end.

 

The diameter corresponds to the size of the drain. Water under pressure, when we open

faucet, clean and purify everything that has accumulated inside the pipe and siphon. A simple and universal device that can be easily and quickly connected to an existing faucet on one side, and on the other via an adapter to the drain.

 

5. Drawing

Drawing No. 1 shows a purifier consisting of a) an adapter, b) a hose of appropriate diameter, c) a tap connection, d) a transition to another tap size, e) a ring for the drain adapter (for sinks with a large drain).

 

6. Detailed description

The purifier is a universal device, or perhaps better said a tool, that can be used indefinitely. Water under pressure, i.e. with a high flow rate, erodes and completely unclogs drains and then cleans the layers deposited on the inside of siphon parts, pipes, and bends. It consists of three interconnected parts:

-drain adapter(s),

‐hose(b), ‐tap connection(c). A tap connection is firmly connected to one side of the hose, and a drain adapter is connected to the other. If we attach the tap connection and press the drain adapter(a) firmly onto the drain itself, then open the tap all the way, water will rush through the sewer drain and installation under full pressure. It is advisable to also run hot water, as it will clean all sediment and impurities even better. In addition to the above parts, an adapter for the connection (d) to the tap, as well as a drain adapter ring (e) are also required. These parts (-d,-e) provide versatility and a complete set for cleaning all drains for: bathtubs, sinks, washbasins, washing machines and dishwashers, as well as connection to various tap sizes.

 

7. Industrial and other applications of the invention The drain cleaner is not intended for use in industry, except for workshops, bathrooms, sinks and the like. Its proper use is in apartments, houses, restaurants and cafes.
