Abstract

The invention relates to a mouse trap which may be used in dwellings, warehouses, shops or basements, as well as in any place where mice can have access. According to the invention, the trap comprises a catching container (1) made of transparent glass, having the shape of a tank provided with an inlet at the upper part and having inclined walls provided with some uneveness (a, b) and an inner shiny surface, the catching container comprising the bait fixed on the bottom and at the inlet, and having also some annular grooves (c,c') provided on the base and at the inlet, said grooves being used for fastening a support (2) and a ladder (3) by means of clips (4).

Description

The invention relates to a trap for mice, which can be used in homes, warehouses, underground stores, as well as in any place that can be visited by them.

This trap is designed so that it can catch both lone mice and whole groups or families of mice.

It is known a rodent device (R0119060), intended for drying operations, consisting of a semi-transparent or transparent plastic box, covered with an upper lid and having round holes in the side walls, which contains inside a box with poisoned bait. .

The known device, as well as the poisoning of mice by poisoning, has the following disadvantages:

- poisoned mice die in uncontrolled places, polluting and infecting the environment;

- when a mouse is trapped, it alerts the whole group;

- there is a danger that other living beings may fall into the trap or be poisoned.

Also known is a trap, especially for mice and rats (GB 444794), made up of a glass container provided at the top with a funnel-shaped hatch, with glossy walls, from which a staircase is articulated to ensure access rodents to a bait placed on the inner wall of the hatch, the rodent exit from the hatch trapped by the slip on the hatch being barred by a horizontal screen in the form of a circular crown, which blocks the space between the side walls of the hatch and hatch.

The disadvantage of this trap is that the container, having uneven walls, requires its closure at the top, which leads to a constructive complication of the trap.

There is also known a mouse trap (UK 2003134906), made of a plastic bottle, having an opening at the top, in which a tilting hatch is arranged near a bait, the container having the inner surface of the glossy walls and being fixed in an inclined position in a ladder support.

The disadvantage of this trap is that the container, being not provided with a flat support surface, does not have a good stability in the position of use.

The trap according to the invention, comprising a captive vessel made of transparent glass, having an entrance mouth at the top and inclined walls, provided with bumps and a glossy interior surface, which contains bait fixed on the bottom and at the mouth of the vessel, eliminates the disadvantages through known solutions. that the catching vessel is provided with annular channels, located at the base and at its mouth, respectively, for fixing a support and stairs, by means of clips.

The mouse trap, according to the invention, has the following advantages:

- eliminates the use of poisonous substances, harmful to humans, the environment and other living things;

- is very effective for catching groups of mice, because the first mouse that falls into the trap, and begins to eat from the bait on the bottom of the captive vessel, is seen by the group of mice nearby, which will be tempted to enter trap;

- contributes substantially to the greening and hygiene of the target areas and the environment;

- presents safety in operation, with beneficial consequences for humans and the environment;

- it is environmentally friendly as the trapped mice, not being poisoned, can be taken to the ecological waste bin without infecting the environment, or they can be incinerated.

The mouse trap, according to the invention, comprises a 9, transparent and glossy glass catch container 1, having the shape of a receptacle with an inlet mouth at the top and inclined walls. The vessel is provided, on the outside, with an annular channel c, 11 located near the base and with an annular channel c ', located at its mouth, for mounting a support 2, which makes common body with some stairs 3, which are fixed with clamps 4. To lure the mice into the trap, a bait 5 is used, which is placed inside the catching vessel 1, both on the bottom and at the mouth of it.
