Abstract
The invention relates to a depressant and dispersant additive for paraffin base crude oil and to the process for producing the same. According to the invention, the additive comprises a toluene solution containing 45...55% by weight terpolymer resulted from the terpolymerization of 60....70% mol vinyl acetate with 35...25% mol fumaric diester having alkyl chains C18 -C26 and 5% mol fumaric diester having the same number of carbon atoms in the alkyl chain, the remaining 55...45% being toluene having a depressant efficiency of 10...20 ° C on the freezing point and a dispersant efficiency of 55...75% by weight reduction of paraffin deposits. The claimed process for producing the additive consists in subjecting to the terpolymerization with vinyl acetate at a temperature of 80...100 ° C, for 14...16 h, a mixture consisting of fumaric diester comprising 4...6% mol fumarate C18, 45...55% mol fumarate C20, 35...35% mol fumarate C22, 15...7% mol fumarate C24, 1...2% mol fumarate C26, and a fumaric monoester having the same number of carbon atoms in the alkyl chain, in the presence of 1.5...2% by weight benzoyl peroxide, thereby obtaining a terpolymer as a solution in toluene having a content of 45...55% by weight substance.
