Abstract

A method of opening a bag includes the steps of providing a bag (10) having a first lip and a second lip defining a substantially flat bag opening, said first lip being secured to adhesive strips (26) for positioning said bag and said second lip having an extending portion extending beyond said first lip; and applying a force to said extending portion of said second lip of said bag so as to displace said second lip away from said first lip, thereby opening said bag opening. <IMAGE>
