Abstract

Low pressure mold casting device comprises a casting station (1) and working stations (8, 9, 10). A clamping unit (2) for receiving a mold (3) having a coupling element (17) is assigned to the casting station. The clamping unit holds the mold halves together during casting. A gripping and transporting system (5) is also included for receiving the mold by gripping the coupling element and for transporting the mold between the working stations. An Independent claim is also included for the mold used in the casting device. Preferably the casting station has a melting oven (4). The mold has a code for identifying the casting mold.
