Zgłoszenie dotyczy również sposobu wytwarzania kwasu (4-tert-butylo-1-etenylocykloheks-1-ylo)octowym charakteryzującego się tym, że redukcja grupy alkilowej (4-tert-butylo-1-etenylocykloheks-1-ylo)octanu etylu następuje w wyniku hydrolizy estru, przy czym reakcję prowadzi się w podwyższanej temperaturze w obecności wodorotlenku potasu, etanolu i wody. Reakcję prowadzi się do momentu całkowitego przereagowania estru.The application relates to (4-tert-butyl-1-ethenylcyclohex-1-yl) acetic acid of formula 1, which is used as an intermediate in the organic synthesis of lactones. The application also relates to a process for the preparation of (4-tert-butyl-1-ethenylcyclohex-1-yl) acetic acid characterized in that the reduction of the alkyl group (4-tert-butyl-1-etylcyclohex-1-yl) acetate occurs as a result of ester hydrolysis, the reaction being carried out at an elevated temperature in the presence of potassium hydroxide, ethanol and water. The reaction is carried out until the ester has completely reacted.
