Abstract

The invention relates to a carrier wagon for combined traffic (transport). In order to achieve selective loading and unloading and secure transportation in particular of road vehicles (17) on railway carriages, the transportation surface (2) of the carrier wagon (1) is divided into vertically movable sub-loading surfaces (3; 4; 5; 6). The movable sub-loading surfaces (3; 4; 5; 6) are connected to the end pieces (8) and are articulated to one another and in the lowered condition form a trough with the longitudinal members (13). Inflatable pressure tanks (11) are secured under the transportation surface (2) of the carrier wagon (1) by tension elements (12) which when filled with a compressible medium are supported on the permanent way (14) and press the sub-loading surfaces (3; 4; 5; 6) into the horizontal plane of the transportation surface (2). <IMAGE>
