Abstract

The invention relates to a closing element (10) for vessels (26), particularly bottles, comprising a lid (12), which can be placed on a vessel opening edge (28) with a lower lid section (42) comprising a seal (30), a clip (14) mounted in the lid (12) and supportable with regard to the vessel (26), wherein the clip (14) and the lid (12) can be moved relative to each other. The invention provides that the closing element comprises a spring element (58) acting in a force-transmitting manner between the lid (12) and the clip (14), the spring element pretensioning the clip (14) toward an upper lid section (40) when the vessel is closed. The invention further relates to a vessel, particularly a bottle, comprising a closing element (10) according to the invention, particularly a clip closure.
