Przedmiotem wynalazku jest lancet do przekłuwania skóry palca pacjenta, przeznaczony zwłaszcza do pobrania próbki krwi dla celów diagnostycznych.The subject of the invention is a lancet for piercing the skin of a patient's finger, intended in particular for the collection of a blood sample for diagnostic purposes.

Znane jest z opisu patentoweg USA nr 4230 118 urządzenie mechaniczne przeznaczone do przekłuwania skóry palca pacjenta. Urządzenie to zawiera mechanizm sprężynowy, przeznaczony do wielokrotnego użycia, oraz iglicę połączoną z mechanizmem sprężynowym. Do iglicy mocowane są wymienne lancety do przekłuwania skóry palca pacjenta, zaś na obudowie urządzenia w osi iglicy mocowane są płytki z otworem.
