Abstract

The present utility model relates to a multi-layered crown cover for beverage cans having a can body with a shoulder portion, and a top end thereof, said crown cover comprising a crown body having a planar surface adopted to be positioned on the top end portion of said can body. a corrugated flaring skirt extending diagonally and downwardly from said planar surface, characteized in that said crown cover being further defined by least two layers of combined sheet material of aluminum and PET, and an adhesive material adhering together said layers of sheet materials. Each of sheet of material has at least 20 microns in thickness and with the inclusion of the thickness adhesive is much cheaper than using a single 60 micron sheet.
