Abstract
The present invention provides an electric vehicle capable of effectively reducing friction between a power storage device and a sliding surface and to which the power storage device can be easily attached/detached. The electric vehicle (10) comprises: the power storage device (20a) that supplies power to a load; and a power storage device housing unit (22a) provided on the vehicle side and to which the power storage device (20a) can be attached and detached. The power storage device housing unit (22a) has a sliding member (52) that, during attachment/detachment, causes the power storage device (20a) to slide in a state in which same is greatly inclined in the horizontal direction rather than the vertical direction. A linear protruding section 54 is provided in the sliding member (52), extending in the sliding direction and forming the sliding surface (54s) with which the power storage device (20a) comes in contact.
