Abstract
This post and pile joining method is a method in which a pile 10 comprising a steel pipe with an opening on top is joined to a steel post 16 disposed by inserting a bottom end 14 thereof into the top end 12 of the pile 10 via a protruding member 18 protruding toward the side on the bottom end 14 of the post 16 and a hardening material 20 filling a gap between the post 16 and the pile 10, and is characterized in that when the centerline C1 of the post 16 and the centerline C2 of the pile 10 are disposed to be offset in the horizontal direction, a gap V is formed between the inner face of the pile 10 and a protruding portion of the protruding member 18 on the side nearest to the inner face of the pile 10 by machining the shape of or changing the disposed position of the protruding member 18.
